Oak Ridge Road Rage
Written by Joe Newlin
Rage's first night in kill season started out fairly slow. Turned her with Thorn, after we spend an hour and a half chasing one of my hunting buddies dogs. Thorn treed, but not in the section that we turned him loose in. He had a coon, but Rage was trying to figure out just where it "went" when I got to Thorn.
I tied Rage back, and gave Thorn the coon...this sure "ignited" her fire....leter in the night, she started her own track (about 2:00 AM) and worked it to a tight fence. She's not very fence savy yet....she's gonna make it, she is out there trying....she will help run a track and if the track is hot enough...she will help tree. She's been hunted two times now, and is progressing each time out.
